To all Veterans 50 years of age and older......... Most of us are going through the next phase of our lives now. We are at that age where we see wrinkles, gray hair and extra pounds. We ran a war machine, homes, paid the bills, dealt with illness, sadness and everything life assigned to us. Many of us went to war and had the chance to return to our loved ones. We remain survivors... We are warriors in calm...... We are strong, we are also veterans of an old era and proud of it........ Even though our bodies may not be what they once were, they carry our souls, our courage and our strength. We have good red blood in our veins. We will all enter this chapter of our lives with humility, grace, and pride in everything we've been through, and we should never feel bad about getting older.
