Dear Community, We need to address a critical issue that has significantly impacted our operations, growth, and your experience. Due to some unsanctioned actions by a few users involving offers inside the community that created legal issues, we have been under review for months. This situation arose when we sought approval to create our own financial program similar to PayPal. Our intention was to prevent companies like Stripe and PayPal from holding the funds of our creators. Unfortunately, we did not receive approval. Due to some sneaky activities by certain creators, we have been thrust into a whole new level of complications that I have been dealing with for months. The consequences have affected not only our community employees and creators but also our charity funds. However, we have finally reached an agreement with big brother and his friends. Besides the large fine I am personally receiving, I am going to provide you with a few options to prevent such issues in the future. Now, I want to involve you, our dedicated community, in making this crucial decision. Option A: 1. Hire watchers, similar to Facebook fact-checkers, to prevent these types of actions. 2. Remove all subscriptions from individual creators. Option B: 1. Move the entire app to a paid platform. (This opens more abilities to us) 2. Implement a group payout program for our creators. 3. Immediate removal with no grace for creators who violate the new community rules (To be posted by the end of the month). This is not going to make some of you and some of our creators happy, and while I care, I also have to balance our livelihoods against what certain individuals believe they should be able to do to make a buck in the shadows.
